I rinsed and was taken back to the 'treatment' room for my wrap. This was a very small bathroom, ordinary in that it was identical to the small bathrooms in the hotel rooms. Then, I had to get up off the bed, wrap in a sheet and walk out to the hallway, in full view of the gym, and move into a bathroom to rinse off. Sounds heavenly right? Wrong! The body scrub consisted of the lady taking some sand and roughly giving my back, legs and arms a once over. We didn't get the pampering you would expect for the price we paid! I spent almost $400 on a package which included a body scrub, body wrap, a facial and a massage. The boys went to have a 'guys day' at the shooting range, while the girls went to the spa for some pampering. I went to the Gold Strike to celebrate my husband's birthday with friends. This place is off the beaten path and doesn't have much to offer children here or anywhere in the area but overall, I will definitely return!! This hotel would be great for adults only. They only pick up your plates and that's it. Oh, one thing at the buffet is that they ask if you want to tip when you pay in advance but they do offer much waiting. Casino and wait staff at the buffet were also kind. The bellman were also kind and informative of the hotel. The Valet could use a lift, they were the only ones that worked at a snails pace and not much help at all if any. The staff were super sweet southern women. My only complaint was the bed pillows were small square pillows which I found strange but still comfortable. No view, but that did not matter because the room was great! Very comfortable beds. I was glad we did! We got an amazing deal! on a room that was WELL EQUIPPED!! It has everything! seperate king bedroom, 1 and a half bath, kitchenette, living area. I took out my google map and saw this hotel had the best rating on Google so we went.

We called up a friend from Tennessee to ask where a good place to visit in MS.
